I know that Joaquin is rumoured to be in PTA's next film 'Inherent Vice'. It's a detective story of sorts set in 1969/70 California, according to one thing I read. Admin is listening to the book so maybe ask him?

Yeah, that's the fella BigGrin I remember him most from "Highway to Heaven" Cool Not a huge fan, but had the chance to see it, so did... it's in a part of Los Angeles if i remember rightly.

I don't remember 'Highway to Heaven' - I might have seen it, but don't remember. It's one of those things that people do, isn't it? Visit the graves of famous people or take a look around well-known cemeteries. Calthorpe cemetery in Edinburgh is a good one for Freemasons and old family crypts and vaults, if you're interested and in the vicinity. Laugh Very gothic and atmospheric.

What do you guys think of this photo of Joaquin? It's a bit of an unusual look for Joaquin, I'm not sure if this look was for a particular movie... you like the look?

Those altars r typical in the Caribbean Islands such as Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba. They have all sorts of rituals which are a mixture of Spanish and African tradition. The little figure is called a Santon . I dont Know a lot about it , I just know they exist . After all Joaquin was born in PR . I imagine most ppl were rooting for him there ! I think I read that he speaks Spanish . I wonder what's his accent like .

Admin probably just seen altars during funerals coz that's the only time he goes to church !

Thanks for the info Sami, i didn't know that... just a cultural difference it seems. They went to a lot of effort to create that, i'm sure if Joaquin saw that he would be extremely touched and pleased.

Yeah, i try and avoid churches, i start feeling a little hot under the collar as soon as i step inside Unsure I freed my mind of all that mumbo a long time ago... but of course it's up to individuals what they choose to do with their lives and what they believe... freedom to choose... its the way God would want it Cool

The only time I've seen these kinds of things, Sami, and not just in churches, is for dead people. Obviously they perform these kinds of rituals for the living too. Thanks for the info. Cool

I like this pic. The shirt makes it look like a straight-jacket but that's not the reason I like the photo. I like Joaquin's face and the pose.
