Hi Guys,
Just a warning that sometime over the next few weeks (hopefully before the end of April) we will be moving the forum to a different server. Seems an appropriate time to do it as Joaquin news and talk isn't too overwhelming at the moment.
Hopefully the move will be seamless and you won't notice any downtime, but if it doesn't go to plan (as IT related things never seem to do  ), then we'll try and get it up as soon as possible. So, no need to panic if you can't get to the forum for a while, as it's probably us trying to get the site moved. I'll let you know when it's complete

Hi Guys! (As in "Hey you guys" from The Goonies )
The forum is back up and running on the new server after a week down because of an absolute farce at GoDaddy (Do not ever use this company to host your site!  )
Anyway, the hardest part of moving server (copying files, database and setting everything back up again on the new server)... went nice and smoothly But, the part that should have been easy and a 5 minute job (re-pointing the domain name) took a week to sort out because of a glitch in GoDaddy's system.
Thanks for your patience again! Let me know asap if you spot anything different or problems as i've only got a week before all the old data from the old server gets cleared!
Anyway, what's happening in the world of Joaquin? |

Good to see the forum back up & running again. Sounds like you've been having a nightmare time though, Admin. Technology, huh? I'll have a look around now to see if everything is the same...

If you're wondering why you couldn't access the site for the past 24hrs. God-awful GoDaddy strikes again! Similar issue to what happened a few months back:
At least GoDaddy's own site was down too, so they couldn't sell anymore substandard hosting services to new suckers. |
