Oh, admin, hello :) Yes, maybe ! perhaps there are fans who don't speak English. It can be a bit intimidating to post in a language you don't speak well.. just for your information I am fluent in Spanish too. Would it be okay to start a thread just in Spanish? Do you speak any other languages yourself?

Acabo de decir que si hay alguien que hable espanol puede escribir porque yo lo hablo bien. Podemos empezar una carpeta solo en espanol incluso!

Sure Sami, go ahead and create a thread in Spanish, it's worth a shot to try and get new fans onboard... i don't speak the language, but have been to Spain a few times.

Oh no, I didn't mean this one !! oops !

This is a fun site I came across on twitter:

http://www.despair.com/priorities.html

"Hundreds of years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... But the world may be different because I did something so bafflingly crazy that my ruins become a tourist attraction."

Joaquin often talks about keeping his ego out if the picture . It made think a bit about what is exactly the ego and I googled it. Blushing
The ego is that part of you that wants to be seen in a particular way by others or society and you do things so that you project an image of yourself that agrees to that. The real you is not that image is the one with flaws and the one creative the authentic you .

I bookmarked this page: Ego, the false center

It's a nice read!

Oh! Confused Why have you deleted your post Sami?

Hi Admin. BigGrin Yes, I will stick around for the Master and Joaquin's other films. I'm really looking forward to seeing him at the cinema again and all the buzz about The Master certainly seems to indicate we're all in for a treat. Love

That's ok, Sami. I read your post but wasn't in a position to respond properly at the time.

About this guy....the phrase 'having your cake and eating it' comes to my mind. Only you can decide whether you want to enter into an 'arrangement' with this guy; whether what he's offering you is what you want.

Good luck with this guy, Sami. Hope you can work it all out in a good way for you. BigGrin

Until the next time... *waves*

A real life Freddy Quell ?

Police chasing naked man swimming in the water ..

http://blog.seattlepi.co...ds-at-green-lake/#7191-7

Seattle police arrested a man who tackled a 16-year-old girl and young man at Green Lake, and went into the water naked as officers tried to catch him.

“We don’t believe he has any weapons,” Sgt. Sean Whitcomb said, “especially considering the temperature of the water.”

The incident began about 3:20 p.m. near East Green Lake Way North and Ashworth Avenue North. Police say they have no idea what provoked the man to tackle the girl and 19-year-old man. “He tackled them like a linebacker,” said a witness. Officers initially reported different ages for the victims.

Police arrested the naked man two hours later after a bizarre pursuit that included the man swimming to the middle of the lake where he clung to an orange buoy and a foot chase on nearby Duck Island. At one point the man swam under a police boat and as officers looked for him his hand could be seen be people onshore clinging under the bow of the boat.

He continued to evade officers, running through thick bushes on Duck Island and emerging multiple times in a sprint as he ran back into the water.

During the pursuit dozens of people gathered on shore watching the scene as news helicopters covered it live from overhead. People standing on a nearby dock said that the man was obviously in excellent shape as he easily swam away from boats and outmaneuvered officers on Duck Island.

For their safety uniformed police were under orders not to enter the water while divers tried to apprehend the man

What a weird story about the naked guy. Confused

Oh no....'Voyage, Voyage'! I'm going to be humming that damn catchy tune all night now and probably tomorrow too! Laugh I like it.... I'm sure I've heard it before. What brought this tune to your mind?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....I love those monkeys!!!! Wub I watched a documentary about them one time. They have a whole community structure going on and the king monkey gets first dibs at the hot spring before any of the others get a chance. I'm amazed at how human the monkey looks. Really absorbing and beautiful.

Baraka brought these to my mind. Equally absorbing and beautiful I think....

Sami,

I can't remember if you said or not, have you seen the documentary that Joaquin narrated, "Earthings"?

That's a very good, but harrowing, documentary! Crying

It can be viewed here if you haven't seen it already:
