It's definately Joaquin speaking and it says it's by Joaquin. So, i guess he most probably did write it...

OK. I'm having a problem hearing all the words so will have to listen to it a few times I think - unless anyone wants to make my life easier by posting the words?

OK Joy, i had a go... here's my interpreted transcription! 


"Yes there are places in the world where dreams are almost dead,
So please, my child, do keep in mind before you go to bed,
to dream a dream as big, as big as could ever dream to be, 
then dream a dream ten times as big as that one dream you see.

For once you got that dream in mind, please dream a million more 
and not a million quiet dreams, a million dreams that roar.
A million dreams so loud they scream, so loud they sing and shout,
so super huge they say "hey world, guess what i'm dream'n about.
I'm dream'n about everything, that no one thought to wonder. 
Dreams so big they got dreams and they got dreams abundar".

And if they say that all your dreams are too big to come true,
you tell them "I told you... that's what dreams are meant to do".
They're meant to make you see there's a few [inaudiable? - Think Joaquin was nodding off slightly]

Yes, Admin, I think you’ve got the words all correct there apart from when Joaquin nodded off.  I couldn’t make it out either, but going by the rhyming patterns in the verse I think the last word of the missing section would be something which rhymes with ‘about’.

 

VV seems to be a wordsmith so I’m wondering if he wrote this and saying ‘by Joaquin’ just means ‘read by Joaquin’? Whoever did write it though, I love how they rhyme ‘wonder’ and ‘abundar’. I don't think this word exists in English but I'm guessing the meaning was 'abundance' and it's a good word!

 

I’m also wondering if the video for this Dream Interlude is one of Joaquin’s. I think it has a similar feel to the ‘In Transit’ video Joaquin directed. What do you think?
