Joaquin attended last night and wore another tie! He looks great and so does Topaz. They make a nice couple; though I have no idea if they're together-together or just together-for-the-event-together. Hehe.

Yeah, Joaquin looks pretty good! I don't think he and Topaz are a couple-they dated up until around 2005, I think. I think it is a together for the event thing. It doesn't look like they arrived together or anything. She's the head of the Lunchbox fund and he's on the Board of Directors, so I reckon it's more of a friends-thing. Still, she's pretty and looks like she's trying to make Joaquin laugh! I wonder if this is Joaquin's new hairstyle from now on. The tracksuit along with the tie's pretty good!

I do not think they arrived together , but they look very cute

I don't know why these two split up, but I've always really liked her. Not that I know her or anything..
Joaquin seems really upbeat and relaxed considering he doesn't usually like this sort of thing. Maybe his hair's having a Samson effect.

I had been reading news articles in relation to this event and I strongly dislike the fact that they were stating that Joaquin was showing strain as a result of the upcoming anniversary of River's passing. Joaquin did not look strained at all. He looked like he was thoroughly enjoying himself. I am sure he still is very heartbroken about his brother's passing, but the media just needs to let it be and stop making assumptions just because it happens to be close to that certain time of year. He could have been happy because of his upcoming birthday. They tend to forget that. His birthday is also at the end of October and it is something to be celebrated. End rant.
