Paul Rusesabagina is a human rights defender and the real-life hero of the movie Hotel Rwanda.
Paul received the U.S. Medal of Freedom for his bravery. He was then illegally arrested, tortured, and arbitrarily detained in Rwanda.
He was sentenced to 25 years in one of the worst prison systems in the world.
