I can't believe you are now a dad! You must have changed a lot. I need to catch up with your interviews, I have been disconnected. Well, I write you as if you were a former friend and truth is I don't know you in person but all those years I followed your interviews and watched all your films I felt really close to you. Unfortunately, later something bad happened which you probably know but I want you to know that now I'm doing great ! I have been working really hard. I went back to school and I'm almost done with a teaching master so next year I will become a highschool Music teacher which Will give me more free time and more financial stability, that Will allow me more possibilities! I won't give up all my projectes here but little by little I Will let you know ☺️ Anyway, Yes, there's a reason why I write you now: I saw the Joker film on Netflix the other day. I didn't want to watch It first because i didn't know how I would feel seeing you again on screen but I did a little sneak peak and I got hooked. I couldn't see you through the character, you were almost unrecognizable! That was brillant. The humanity underneath such a brutal character... It was moving. Only you could have understood the complexity and all the layers beneath this kind of violence.How the system fails and how society fails and how family fails and the selfishness of those privileged Who don't want to help others in need keeps the poor without almost alternatives. This film touched so many key points and unfortunately things aren't improving any time soon. It was a pleasure to watch even thought I can't stand violent movies. Now I have to go, I'm going to the beach. I have a few days off before I continuen to finish my studies. Take care you and your family. I can't wait to watch it This topic is so important. I'm so sad about what's happening in the USA. I have an acquaintance that lives in Chicago and he says there is every time more people sleeping in cars in Chicago bc they loose their houses or they can't pay thier bills... it seems everytime there is a bigger gap between the poor and the rich. What Trump is doing is so dehumanizing. I never really understood the republican ideology, They don't seem to have a heart. They're really selfish and mean. The same with immigration. It's unfair to treat another human being as less than you. At least give them a chance, a way to legalize. Specially in a country built by immigrants, it should have an inclusive policy not an exclusive one. I suffered it in my own skin...living there for 12 years but never getting my VISA bc I couldn' afford to pay all the fees.I wasn' doing anything wrong or bad to anybody. I only wanted to be like everybody else, fit in and contribute. I knew a lot of ppl that got their papers cheating and I didn't want to do that so I finally went back home and I got sick of all the suffering. In any case that was the best decision I could have made because back home I could heal. I saw a tik tok video if you, oh man, you have changed a lot all these years. You seem more serious. I think I dreamt about you tonight but nothing coherent. I just remember you were kind of busy and a bit grumpy, ha ha! You were probably like "don't bother me' haha. I shouldnt be posting here that would be the message. It's never good to look back. I'm just a hard working person I guess like a lot of pol, but I also want to be happy. I like talking to you ! Soon Im going to have morè time and go out more. I would love to travel! I've had to start from zero in my own country once I got back. It wasn't always easy. But I'm proud bc everything I built I did It myself, that feels good. You don't have to rely on anyvody to pay your bills and you are free.Even as a woman that's still empowering. You see, sone good things I did learn in the usa. Specially the hard working part,haha the having fun part not so much but soon It Will come , yay ! Thank you for being a friend !
